Baltic Model Management (BMM) has been operating for more than 20 years in the market, developed and managed such models as Carmen Kass, Julija Steponavičiūtė, Dovilė Viršilaitė, Svetlana Lazareva, Aistė Jasaitytė, Indrė Aleksiuk and many others. Having represented only girls so far, the agency decided to launch men division as well.
"Our partners and clients in Lithuania and abroad have been asking longly when we will start to manage male models as well. In the past, for some jobs we even confirmed our friends or our models' friends" - says Ingrida Bruggemann, the director of BMM. Business development manager of BMM Agnė Augutavičiūtė adds that "Since we work with more than 100 well known agencies around the world, there is no need to search for new markets, we already get requests from our current partners".
Isn't it hard to find guys who would like to start modelling career in such a small country like Lithuania where there are number of male management model agencies? "Actually, we are lucky that the only male model management agency in Lithuania First Face Model joined our company. Aistė Andrijauskaitė the First Face Model manager started her modelling career at the age of 14 at BMM. So the biggest news are that our agencies are merging and from now on they both will operate under the BMM name. Aistė will continue to help us with scouting new promising guys and BMM will plan their career in Lithuania and abroad", says Ingrida.
The fashion industry is very dynamic, new trends are observed every year, so what kind of new faces you are looking this year? "Now we are looking for models with interesting features, different races and nationalities. What in the past used to be considered "ugly" now is very trendy. Let's say a big nose, a scar, big chin, high forehead and etc. Of course, commercial models with classical features will always be needed int he market. As an agency, we are faithful to our principles. We are not only looking for outer beauties, but for us also is very important that the person would have great personality, charisma, positive attitude, ability to listed and willingness to learn. This stand not only for models, after all we all notice and sympathize with those who radiate inner energy", says BMM director.
Baltic Model Management teaches new faces how to walk, pose in front of camera, dress up for castings, communicate with clients, provides other useful information and plans international career from the very first steps in the fashion industry.
